Epoxy Chemist

PPI Tech is seeking a passionate, highly motivated Chemist with a strong background in epoxy formulations. Responsibilities

• Ability to perform laboratory experiments as directed

• Thoughtfully perform experiments independently based on project scope

• Record and maintain all lab work in a lab notebook

• Assist with QC tests as needed

• Interact with production personnel on pilot batches and production problems

• Interact with sales personnel to understand existing product issues/uses and product development needs

• Interact with customers and assist with technical support questions and inquiries

• Keep laboratory work area neat and uncluttered

• Organize and maintain chemical sample storage racks

• Understand hazards of chemicals through company provided training and reading MSDSs and labels

• Wear proper personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves and safety glasses) and following all safety rules

• Report safety concerns immediately to your supervisor

• Work within cross functional teams to enable new product development project success

• Assist with troubleshooting, application development and commercialization

• Other duties as assigned

Jobs Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and 0–2 years of experience with formulation

Production Worker

Job Description-Production Worker

Production Worker- Perform various tasks, including maintaining and operating the machinery and searching for potential malfunctions or risks. You’ll transfer the products and equipment, using power tools and forklift trucks. You’ll also keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment
  • Maintain the warehouse’s machines
  • Assemble machinery parts
  • Store products and materials
  • Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
  • Report on defective products or machinery
  • Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a production worker or similar role
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse
  • Good understanding of how production equipment works
  • Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Job Description:

PPI Tech is seeking a skilled Batcher with experience working with Epoxy and Polyurethane. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and mixing raw materials to produce high-quality products used in our manufacturing processes. The Batcher will operate machinery associated with the batching process and maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mix raw materials, including Epoxy and Polyurethane, following established formulas and procedures.
  • Operate machinery used in the batching process of Epoxy and Polyurethane products, including scales, mixers, and pumps.
  • Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to produce accurate and consistent batches.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols and procedures at all times when working with hazardous materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of each batch, including amounts of raw materials used and batch numbers.
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring and reporting on raw material levels.
  • Properly label and identify the appropriate containers for the packaging of finished products.
  • Package finished goods in the appropriate containers following all given instructions and requirements.
  • Appropriately identify, palletize, and store the finished goods, and document their location.

Requirements and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience batching Epoxy and Polyurethane.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery typically used in the batch process.
  • Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in the batch process.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as batch sheets and production schedules.
  • Must be comfortable working with hazardous materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License/State issued ID Card.
  • Background Check.
  • Drug Screening.
